This site is dedicated to the promotion and continuation of the Worldwide Marriage Encounter movement in Alaska. In addition to the Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekends, this community provides activities for couples who have already been Encountered including community nights, dinner dances and other activities designed to promote and strengthen the sacrament of marriage.

Worldwide Marriage Encounter is designed to give married couples the opportunity to examine their lives together... a time to share their feelings, their hopes, disappointments, joys and frustrations... and to do so openly and honestly in a face-to-face, heart-to-heart encounter with the one person they have chosen to live with the rest of their life.

A Worldwide Marriage Encounter Community is a group of couples who have been on a Marriage Encounter Weekend. The purpose of Community is to provide ongoing support for your marriage relationship, family life and all other relationships around you.

Buildng Community Through Relationship - September 11-12, 2010
Presented by Tom & Kathy Dauer of Spokane, Washington and Paul & Angie Gilmour from Portland, Oregon. "Building Community through Relationship" is a day and a half experience for couples / priests/ religious who are looking for a greater sense of Community with others who also share the desire for stronger marriages and more enriching support communities. This Enrichment is open to all couples/priests/religious who have ever attended an Engaged encounter, Retrouvaille or WWME Weekend. This is an excellent tool to revive your dialogue and couple relationship or to refresh your ministry!
This enrichment is paid for by a National WWME grant and WWME Alaska. All meals and materials at no charge. RSVP is essential to order correct materials. For more information, click here.
